Our distributor in Mexico, SIMO SOLUCIONES EN IMPLANTOLOGÍA shares a case made by Dr. Ricardo Velázquez using our scanbodies for intraoral and extraoral scan. In this case it has been made an intraoral scan in the patient’s mouth.
The 3mm adapter allows the scanbody to protrude above the gum and expose the maximum peek body of the scanbody. In this way, we achieve that in the scanning process, the maximum scanbody’s body is read and obtain better results.
